WHO wE ARE
Sasha Kai Parker
Karaoke siren. Dart shark. Former Mouseketeer
Sasha Kai is all of these things. She’s also an award-winning writer, producer, ceramic artist, and creative director whose work spans TV, audio, digital experiences, and the wonderfully analog world of clay. Over the last decade, she’s shaped storytelling for major entertainment brands, including serving as Product Lead on NBC’s 2024 Paris Olympics digital experience, which earned both an Interactive Emmy and a Webby Award.
Her audio and digital work includes launching Freeform’s inaugural podcast A Little Forward, producing and editing PushBlack’s Black History Year, and creating Wyld at Heart — a narrative social series chronicling her return to ceramics after a traumatic brain injury, brain surgery, and a long recovery. The series explores how art can heal, what it means to rebuild a creative life, and the slow, intentional act of coming home to oneself.
When she’s not building worlds on screen or in sound, you can usually find her at the pottery wheel, tending to Wyld Heart Ceramics, or belting out 80’s power ballads at a karaoke bar near you — because some stories demand full chest voice.
Josiah Powell
Lumberjack. Wolf-puncher. Black belt.
Josiah Powell is none of these things — but he is a seasoned writer-producer for podcasts and television with a knack for shaping character-driven, highly watchable stories.
During his tenure at The Laugh Factory, he helped launch the Live from the Laugh Factory podcast with comedian Dom Irrera.
In television, Josiah has served as a story producer on series across networks and genres, contributing to Spike TV’s Catch a Contractor, Bar Rescue, MTV’s Busch Family Brewed, and most recently the hit renovation series Maine Cabin Masters, where he helped craft episodes that blend heart, humor, and hammer swings.
When he’s not in an editing bay or shaping beats in the field, you can find him reading comic books, devouring wrestler biographies, or researching obscure fun facts he’ll inevitably bring up at dinner.
